This is my first Balkan I have tried. I love it. It's definitely not a crossover. the smokey and sour combination is delightful. it's now one of my favorite non-aromatics. i'll be buying more for sure.

Smokes great Burns a little quickly but no bite. Its mellow and makes for a good reprieve after a heavy English

Shipping lag
Seems like the shipping times getting longer. Also, this blend I’m getting Northstar seems to be in consistent from one batch to the next. Otherwise I enjoy doing business with 4 noggins.

Northstar is high on my list for a Latakia-prevalent tobacco, which is about 90% of the time. It's low nicotine hit makes it a good all day smoke for my tastes.
