Blending Tobacco: RED VIRGINIA

BT2TS1R-1oz

Sweet, deeply resonant and strong in flavor. Will bite if handled carelessly like most straight VA tobacco. A great blending Virginia.

Sweetness & Zing

4 Noggins Red Virginia is a dry, blending tobacco. I suppose you could blend it. I take it just as it is, only more finely cut down to smaller pieces. This is a real deep Virginia treat! Sweetness with zing! Yet it maintains a middle of the road position in terms of strength and flavour. What's not to love? I recommend you try it straight and slow. Excellent!

A Real Little Gem

This Red Virginia isn't really a mixing tobacco. If you're going to mix it at least try it straight, maybe a few times. I can't ever see myself mixing Red Virginia. Cut up, rubbed out and taken as slowly as possible – because it can burn hot - this is superior tobacco that just keeps getting better. Within reason, relights well. A real little gem that delivers! If you love sipping honest Virginia tobacco - than just go for it.

Blend it!

I tried to smoke that alone but had bad burns, even in a shisha it doesn't work for me , however it is very good tobacco.

An honest straight virginia.

I got this as a gift from a friend I bought a 1940's Dunhill from. Treated with care and love, not letting the flame touch the tobacco while lighting it, puffing gently and slowly. What a tobacco! Very straigh forward virginia, I soon identified a type of lemon and orange taste which was really persistent. There is a special zesty nuance in it which makes it very refreshing, somehow. I let the last 1/4 of the bowl lay for the night. The next day, the perfect taste was still all there, no change at all. I sometimes only "drink" from the bowl a couple of times and put the pipe aside so I can enjoy the aftertaste for some minutes.
