I purchased this tobacco years ago and was deeply disappointed. It burnt (very) hot, dry and fast. Honestly, I felt like I'd been ripped off. That stated, I placed it in a clean, sealed jar with dark rum and left it under my bed. Years passed. Recently, being desperate, I discovered and smoked it. Wow! A little moisture and maybe time did the trick. I now know that Daughters and Ryan Ryback Gold is both inexpensive and worthy. And if you blend with a little Perique or blow-your-head-clean-off Rope tobacco - it just becomes exceptional. I was highly surprised and recommend this blend.
Gently moisten when you get it and cellaring appears to do no harm. I use dark rum for its natural affinity with tobacco and because it prevents mould.
