Cornell & Diehl Bulk: SHANDYGAFF

Shandygaff is a low key, comfortable smoke, that is very Burley-forward. It is shag cut to boost the flavor (I think), and the Turkish and Perique are understated, providing just a bit of additional body. If you're a Burley fan, I think you'll like this blend.

A most interesting blend of a very robust Burley base, with Orientals & Perique as mentioned above. The Oriental component sits very, very well with the Burley. Medium to full in flavor, a touch over medium in nic, a very unique and satisfying smoke. Really, an all day blend for me.

There is some sweetness present perhaps from the Burley, really really tasty and the closest thing to an all day blend from C&D that is not an aromatic. No dottle or wet pipe cleaners and the room note while not Apricots or Vanilla did not provoke violence from the ladies in the room so that's a plus! A nice Nic hit but not overbearing at all. Very unique since it doesn't contain Virginias and must be tried at least once (especially for the Burley lovers)! Think cinnamon raisin bread with a salty tangy taste! Delightful...
