As I've said elsewhere, Davidoff's Flake Medallions aren't exactly hiding any depth, but they *are* as advertised: a Va/Per with a candy center of Cavendish. And no aeration required! Just rub out those coins, dry it out a bit, stuff & puff. Easy. Reliable. Decent price. Better presentation than Escudo... better flavour, too! I'm looking forward to comparing these to Stokkebye's Bulls Eye Flakes, but I have to wait until next year to do so; the Stokkebye line has a reputation for rushing their tobaccos out the door without allowing them to mature first, so once they've aged properly I'll do the comparison.
Until then, Davidoff's hits the bullseye themselves as a right-now pipe tobacco, the way it should be when you pop a tin.
