Macbaren Symphony is a rather pleasant Burley/Virginia blend that is a step under mild to medium with a mild nic-hit.
The cocoa/chocolate topping is mild that does not drown out the Burley and Virginia tobacco flavour. [What I term a 'semi-aromatic']
The broken flake is not at all moist or sticky, ready to smoke straight from the bag. I find that it smokes better with a light rub before loading.
Symphony is a very nice 'all day' blend. After adding this to my regular rotation for a couple of weeks, I ordered another 1lb.
Ageing is said to do interesting things.
Very much recommended, especially to those who enjoy a Va/Bur blend with a rather light topping that enhances the natural tobacco flavour rather than drowning it out.
