Peterson: (Dunhill) ROYAL YACHT 50g

PETRY

Truly a luxurious pipe tobacco. Virginias are carefully conditioned to insure sweetness. They are added to rich, heavier and cooler Virginias. A unique flavor is added to the final blend to enhance the subtle and piquant aroma.

Still much the same

The tin has ‘original recipe’ printed on the tin and I think that it is a sincere statement as this distinctive mix of Virginias still has the strength and flavour I remember when it was a Dunhill product.
This is a tobacco to be packed with extra care and smoked quite slowly.
It is of the right moisture and cut and the high quality of the leaf is apparent.

Great Virginia but not for the weak of heart.

If you like a full body Virginia look no further. Be carful on an empty stomach, the nicotine level is high.

Flavor Blast!

Royal Yacht is one of my favorite red virginia blends. Packed with flavor and power, I get a woodsy, tangy flavor throughout that never changes to the very bottom of the bowl. I would recommend smoking this after a meal as it does pack a powerful hit especially if your tolerance is on the lower side. On another note, the service from 4 Noggins was excellent!!! Thanks guys!!!

Packs a Punch - Straight Virginia

Peterson Royal Yacht is a straight Virginia and packs a punch. Unfortunately, it lacks you-can-almost -taste-it plum flavouring under the Dunhill name. Taken slowly, it’s still right up there. Relights OK and that’s important for a strong tobacco. No tongue burn or rough edges. Recommended for drawn out, contemplative recesses throughout the day.
