My OLB arrived 11 days after being shipped - to PA via Seattle, WA. Lesson: reorder well before supply gets low; I had to open a treasured can of genuine UK - made Dunhill. Thanks
PS Rating is for OLB & 4noggins, NOT for the USPS.
I don't mean that it tastes like an ale, but if I were to liken it to the beverage world, I'd categorize Beck's Ol' Limey Bastard as a rich, dark, dray ale. Maybe a barley wine?
Beautiful aroma, full bodied and rounded out flavor... this was recommended by someone who gave me a sample and well... let's just say that I had been tip-toeing into English blends from mostly aromatics for a while... and this just pushed me in deep. I don't know if I can go back to Lane 1-Q and be satisfied like this!
Anyway, it is definitely a step up and I'm very glad I've got OLB on my path of discovery!
I left the bag on the counter, wife wondered what she kept smelling. Smokes smooth, love the Bastard.
Since my first bowl of Beck’s Ol’Limey Bastard, I have been a fan. Beck’s OLB will never bite, burns evenly to a white ash, The latakia is noticeably present without being overwhelming. There is a sweetness to the woody, smokey latakia. Not a very complex blend, but definitely a good all-day smoke. The nic hit is quite mild if, like me, you want to enjoy the tobacco without the buzz.
Grateful for the products, pricing and services. You've always been impressive. Thankyou. Postage is expensive but it is here within 10 days.
