I took up pipe smoking in 1973. My tobacco of choice was Balkan Sobranie. I've tried a number of tobaccos after it was discontinued, but have never found one that matched the quality of Balkan Sobranie. For the past few years I've been smoking Pirate Kake by Cornell & Diehl. What can I say? It's nowhere near the quality of BS, but I find it enjoyable. I gave it two stars, but I'd judge it to be 2 1/2.

This is such a great latakia rich tobacco with a very good taste. Just love it!

This is very heavy in Latakia. I enjoyed it very much! If you're unsure of whether you would like Latakia, look elsewhere. If you KNOW you like latakia, this stuff is the bomb.
