America's oldest family-operated cigar manufacturer, J.C. Newman, struck gold with the release of the Quorum line of bundled cigars. Renowned for offering great taste and incredible value, these inviting smokes are among the best-selling premium-quality cigars globally. The folks at J.C. Newman take the Quorum line to the next level with the Quorum Havana Q series.
The 6" x 50 Quorum Havana Q Double Toro features a Havana-seed wrapper leaf cultivated in Ecuador's Guayas region at the base of the Cotuguay Mountains, where tobaccos similar to those from Cuba's Vinales Valley thrive. This leaf is combined with rich Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, resulting in a remarkably smooth and deeply layered smoke.
Each Quorum Havana Q cigar offers a leisurely, medium-bodied smoke filled with nut, cedar, spice, leather, and dark fruit flavors. Balanced from start to finish, the Cuban-like expressions of the tobacco blend make for a happily nostalgic experience that is sure to delight a wide spectrum of cigar enthusiasts.
Quorum Havana Q cigars are crafted at J.C. Newman's PENSA cigar factory in Esteli, Nicaragua and packaged in humidified packs of 20, offering a uniquely satisfying cigar smoking experience at a great value. These savory sticks are ideal for the everyday enthusiast and make an affordable way to stock humidors full of tasty crowd-pleasing smokes.
Pack of 20
Don't let the price point of these cigars put you off, they are a great smoke. I bought these as my first order from here to see if they would make it over the pond to me. Even with the international shipping, these sticks come in at about $3.50 - $4 a piece, which is insane! If they came in a fancy box, they would sell at double the price. Saying that, the humidifier bag they come in is pretty smart and is handy if you want to save humidor space. Just drop a Boveda in and they look after themselves!
From the start, the Havana Q starts out very mild, which was expected given the ring gauge and the loose draw, by the second third the flavour starts to come in with mild spices and a touch of pepper, the smoke production is great. The final third sees the flavour intensify and the wrapper starts to become nice and oily but never becomes harsh or bitter.
You can easily get a good 90 minutes out of these sticks, they burn evenly and produce a nice consistent white ash. I smoke these when I am gardening and find myself wasting too much time just sitting and enjoying my cigar.
No, these aren't premium cigars, so dont expect a ton of complex flavours, but I would not have any issue giving these out to friends to smoke with me in the garden. I will not think twice about buying these again.
