Amphora Original Blend is a blend made from a base of Burley and Cavendish, with Turkish, Virginia and Dark Fired added to the mixture. A topping of Cocoa is added to the ribbon cut tobaccos to create a well rounded blend that emphasises the natural sweetness of the Burley, accented by the Cocoa. This is the original blend that started it all for Amphora.
I originally tried it out of the pouch and it was kind of harsh. I jarred it for 3 weeks and it smoothed out to an enjoyable burley with a slight chocolate note.
I will keep going back to it and expect my rating to improve as I go back.
