My taste/smell memory isn't good enough to tell if this is identical to the classic, but that's a moot point -- this reincarnation is excellent. As someone noted, it is a bit moist in the can, but I'm afraid to change anything. (Once it gets going, it burns very well.) I've tried a lot of Balkans, and this is easily my favorite. Perhaps it's a bit less sharp/tangy than the classic, but that's a feature, not a bug. And it still has the pleated paper liner, which I love. So many thanks to the blokes in Merrie Old who reincarnated this ("made under licence [sic] in the British Isles").
