A light, bright flake of famous refinement and antiquarian origins, here in ready-rubbed form, Capstan Gold, like its medium-bodied Blue sibling, was originally created by W.D. & H.O. Wills of Bristol during the latter half of the 19th century. Suffice to say, it's no accident this smoking mixture has survived as a favorite to so many generations.
This I like better than the one in the square box, the flake. It is more balanced, no sourness, but gently sweet and with "body", meaning a spicy, fullfilling taste- I can't do without it, enjoy it a lot!
