This had a great smell out of the tin, and I was really looking forward to tasting this year's blend, but in the pipe it was obviously an oriental blend, with a lot of Izmir flavor dominating all the notes. The burley was simply lost and may need to age for 6 months to a year before it gets to where it should be. I ended up adding about 20% KY Burley to the tin, and it mellowed out the Izmir to a supporting flavor, and the burley shone a lot more. I tried 3 bowls before I added the extra burley and the bigger pipes smoked way better than a narrower bowl for flavor, as you would expect. Moisture was spot on and well mixed, but it was just too far off past blends and needed some tweaking. Might also consider a bit of dark burley for a deeper flavor.
