The main characteristics of this flake come from the 8% Latakia included in the blend and the smooth chocolate aroma. The Latakia cools but does also add strength and aroma. The cocoa casings and chocolate top flavors are rounded off with vanillas and other flavors providing sweet notes.
I don't know how to describe it. Slightly smoky chocolate with "something extra"? That doesn't do it justice. Just know I love it.

An Exceptionally Choice Tobacco
A really choice, mid-strength tobacco blend. Sweet, cool and with an inviting flavour profile. The slower you sip, the better it is. Relights fairly well. Very highly recommended, especially to connoisseurs.

This is an outstanding flake IMHO Opening the tin the aroma of rich chocolate is immediately apparent. It rubs out well and packs easily. Very smooth with the chocolate in the background and the rich tobacco taste to the fore. Smokes clean, clear and dry, A must try for any lover of English Flake tobaccos. One I will always have on hand. All in all a really wonderful Flake.
