Firstly I have kept this tin unopened for two years and the picture is a bit different. Don't know how much the taste has changed, but this is absolutely great stuff. The taste of Latakia is gentle, smoke is soft and it feels like something is hugging the taste pellets. I only have smoked three different latakias and this is an excellent choice to try out that world. Even it is doubtly so, but this is how I always figured the smoke tastes/smells when Sherlock Holmes lit his pipe on a TV series.
