Been smoking Briar Fox for a couple of months now and it’s really grown on me.
There’s a tangy spicy note that reminds me of orange peel, not the fruit but that note you catch when you squeeze the peel and the spray hits the tip of your tongue. Slightly sweeter and less sharp than that, but same kind of lift. It’s not sugary or topped, just how the tobacco comes through.
That’s what keeps me coming back. Reminds me of Royal Yacht back when Dunhill made it, same sort of tang, but that had a much bigger nicotine hit. This sits in a nicer place, you feel it but it doesn’t overpower you.
Just a solid, satisfying smoke that works all the way down.
