Cornell & Diehl Bulk: OLD JOE KRANTZ

My second order of Old Joe Krantz because I love this blend as an any time of day smoke.

I'm making my way throug C&D's fine tobaccos I must say this is one of my favourite blends strong and very tasty, sour but in a good way like a good ale.

As a VA lover I could never really find a C&D bulk blend that rocked my boat. But I'm not going to loose any sleep over that. When a blend is good, it's just good, no matter what your personal preference. OJK is famous for a reason. It's strong, sweet, tart, earthy, fruity, cigar like, nutty, complex and more. Perhaps there are some who would find it unrefined, I'm not one of them, it's a tobacco that holds no punches and take no prisoners. It will surprise you again and again. Don't let its ruggedness or strength put you off discovering its hidden charms.

Old Joe Krantz doesn't offer too much excitement, actually not much at all. It's an excellent, undemanding, balanced, straight tobacco suitable for any time. I found Old Joe to be a controlled, medium strength with underplayed Perique. Nice enough on its own or could be mixed. Then there's the price!
