This is supposed to be a remake of Revelation,
a tobacco enjoyed by Albert Einstein and I smoked 50 years ago. It may come close, I really can't remember, but no matter.
This is a pleasant surprize: an affable blend of burley, Virgina, perique and Latakia, without the top note of fruitiness I remember from the original. The fruitiness is there when the tin is opened, but disappears in the nutty, mellow smoke. There is a nicotine kick to it, and I prefer it in small doses. It burns well in my meerschaum, and in my long-stemmed small bowl pipe, not a churchwarden, but similar to the one Arthur Hunnicutt smoked in The Big Sky.
Great movie, fine tobacco.
