4noggins Bulk: CHIPMAN HILL

4N2CH-1oz

Chipman Hill is a great all day smoke for the English blend lover, even if its not a crowd pleaser, (can you say "Latakia"), but who do you smoke for? The cut is dark and stringy. Packing qualities are good. The aroma is full and the taste rich in Orientals.

Nice change

Former cigarette smoker. I switched to a pipe a few years ago and have been smoking aromatic/flavored tobacco, but was kind of getting tired of it. I read up on English blends and decided to try Chipman Hill. Very nice change, so far so good.

I totally agree with the description. If you are a fan of the classic English Latakia blends, this will be a great addition to your daily line up. The balance of Latakia and Orientals is light and mellow, and the cut is easy handling and smooth smoking.

Great tobacco. Very smooth and gentle. The perfect balance of orientals/latakia gives me a nice, dry, little sweet, smoky experience. It's remarkable how great this tobacco tastes. From the top to the bottom, i only get a solid, pleasant and relaxing smoke. I usually don't smoke my bowl till the end. But this one is an exception. If you like latakia but finding yourself hard on them, try this one. It's a record!

An Excellent Smoke.

First and foremost, this is my first time ever trying a house blend. Next I am happy to say I wasn't dissappointed. In fact I was quite impressed. I just received this tobacco today. I packed a bowl and lit up. I was immediately greeted with a nice, rich spicy taste from the Orientals which lasted through the entire bowl. The combination of the smokiness of the Latakia and the spicy Orientals made me think of a roaring campfire in the snow out in the far north woods at Christmastime. It remings me a bit of Balkan Sasieni and Lane's "Crown Achievement" but with a more noticable spiciness which I like. I think I'll be enjoying another own of this after dinner and before I retire for the evening.
