Cornell & Diehl Bulk: BIG N' BURLEY

As I wrote in the title, I'm not a big Burley smoker, so you might want to take my review with that in mind.

This blend is certainly rough cut. It's largely made up of what appear to be chunks and strands of broken up pressed Burley. The addition of the ribbon cut Perique and Latakia make it a bit of a challenge to pack. The chunks do sometimes require some rubbing or breaking up.

The nicotine content is high, so smoke it slow. The flavor isn't bad, and there's not a bite in the bag, but I don't find anything in this blend that makes me say, "Mmmm...I want more of this." I probably won't buy it again, but like I said, I'm not really a Burley guy.

is the clear winner. Took a flame very easily, and required only one relight, which is always pleasant. No moisture at the end, which surprised me since I tend toward the faster end of the puff speed spectrum. I like this as a seasonal blend, when I want something more than a one-dimensional aromatic, yet milder than a full on English blend

Good flavor, great nicotine content. A little rough around the edges, but an all day smoke. Great price point.
