This is a different taste, "good different" as my grandson would say, not "bad different". Immediately, the combination wafts to the when the lid is popped. The first fill on the first puff promises something different. I don't think I can find words to quite describe this experience. Out there today we find so many excellent blends of various themes, balkan, English, aromatics, and it takes something excellent plus to stand out in this crowd of achievers. This blend stands aside from the crowd. I think it's the perique, a slightly paprika taste under the interwoven Latakia, and the slightly dusty note of the unsweetened cavendish. I don't know. But this blend is truly different. If you love perique, try it. If you're a Latakia fan, try it. If you just enjoy a great tobacco, try it. Head and shoulders above, and in a group of its own, this is one truly excellent "different" blend. I am enjoying it in my Miss Meersh at the moment. Dreaming dreams of a dusty summer day on the bayou with low humidity. The tobacco has a fine moisture content, but it lights and burns slowly, a cool smoke, straight from the tin. No exceptional number of relights required. I will be ordering this as part of my regular rotation. Latakia Perique and Va Balkan and THIS !!!
