If you're living a fast-paced life and just don't have time to dry a flake tobacco to the proper level, rub it out, and so on, this is not a bad one to just stuff in the pipe and go. I have to say it ain't for me. I generally don't like casing so kudos to GLP for offering something for the pure VA fans, I just don't find much to keep me coming back to this one. What flavor is there is light on the sweetness and heavier on the grassy and harsh hay notes. I'll temper my opinion by saying my tin of this had spent years open and drying out, which did it no favors whatsoever. However, this wouldn't have been a problem in the first place had it been compelling enough for me to finish it when I first opened it. I have yet to find anything from GLP that I'd buy twice and unfortunately this doesn't alter the pattern, though between a shop that offered this and goopy aromatics, I'd pick Laurel Heights every time.
